Samuel Berger is the Chair of the Albright Stonebridge Group. He served as National Security Advisor to President Bill Clinton from 1997-2000, and Deputy National Security Advisor from 1993-1996. Berger was Deputy Director at the State Department’s Policy Planning Office from 1977-1980. During the 1992 Presidential campaign, Berger served as Senior Foreign Policy Advisor to then-Governor Clinton. Prior to joining the Clinton administration, Berger headed the International Division of Hogan & Hartson, a law firm based in Washington, DC. Berger received his B.A. from Cornell University in 1967 and his J.D. from Harvard Law School in 1971.
