Ilana Weinberg joined AAM in 2006, and has worked on various programmatic aspects in the organization, including production of America Abroad’s public radio program, before joining the newly developing AAM Television Department in 2007. Previously, Ilana worked as the assistant to veteran journalist Marvin Kalb in the DC office of Harvard’s Shorenstein Center on the Press, Politics, and Public Policy.
Ilana graduated with honors with a B.A. in journalism from the George Washington University’s School of Media and Public Affairs. As an undergraduate, Ilana interned for ABC News with producers at both Nightline and Primetime, and was an intern on Capitol Hill in the Press Office of Senator Edward M. Kennedy.
