AAM Insight interviews author Ayad Akhtar

(Washington DC – February 17, 2012) Author Ayad Akhtar's debut novel, “American Dervish,” tells the coming-of-age story of a young Pakistani-American boy growing up in the Midwest whose religious awakening is sparked by the the arrival of a beautiful and deeply spiritual Pakistani woman.
